Most Americans oppose President Joe Biden’s extra-constitutional vaccine mandate. According to a recent poll from the Trafalgar Group, 58 percent of Americans do not believe Biden has the constitutional authority to impose such a mandate and 56 percent support the efforts of state governors to oppose Biden’s mandate. One governor who has been vocal in his opposition is South Carolina’s McMaster.
Governor McMaster tweeted the following in response to Biden’s mandate announcement “The American Dream has turned into a nightmare under President Biden and the radical Democrats. They have declared war against capitalism, thumbed their noses at the Constitution, and empowered our enemies abroad. Rest assured, we will fight them to the gates of hell to protect the liberty and livelihood of every South Carolinian.”

Other governors have also vowed to fight the mandate in court. In addition to the judicial battle, there is also a war on the administrative front.
Federal OSHA has authorized 25 states to operate their own occupational safety and health agencies. South Carolina OSHA is not enforcing Biden’s mandate. “We currently do not have the proposed language of the Emergency Temporary Standard from Federal OSHA, but will evaluate South Carolina’s response once received. Should Federal OSHA issue an ETS that may require the state’s employers to take some form of action, ample notice will be provided. For today, and until further notice, nothing has changed for South Carolina employers.”
Both the morale and the mechanisms exist to oppose Biden’s unconstitutional power grab. We must hold our elected official accountable and demand that they oppose this mandate. Otherwise, Biden’s dictatorial power grab may become the future norm.
